A New Standard

Teach With Us

What sets MCTS apart?

At MCTS, we understand that being a trauma therapist requires more than general understanding. What sets us apart from other continuing education centers is our central focus on trauma. We don’t just teach the basics—we dive into the complexities of trauma, offering comprehensive training so that therapists can handle even the most challenging cases with confidence.

Founded by Pria Alpern, PhD, the Manhattan Center for Trauma Studies is dedicated to advancing the field of mental health by providing comprehensive, trauma-informed education and training to therapists. Our intention is to equip mental health professionals with the knowledge and skills to effectively treat psychological trauma in diverse clinical settings. We emphasize a rich understanding of traumatology by integrating research and theory with clinical applications.
